FOR SALE - CEDAR AND GLASS DINING TABLE

Cedar and glass dining table - $400
 If you like rustic and organic looking tables then this hand crafted 1" cedar fence board and glass top table is for you. The legs are constructed from poplar and finished with a light brown stain to complement the overall design.
This table is hand sanded so the texture of the vintage wood and grain are exposed but the natural look and feel of the wood is preserved.  The table support is a hand crafted circular design stained a Cabernet color to accentuate the design of the cedar border.

All surfaces are sealed with water based Spar Urethane to provide several years of protection whether this is used indoors for casual family dining or for outdoor patio entertaining. Table will seat six adults comfortably. Cat not included.

FOR SALE - CEDAR TRUNK

Cedar Trunk - $105
If a trunk could talk - the story behind this all-cedar trunk tells a rich family history, including moving all their worldly possessions from China to Maui to the U.S. mainland in the mid 1950's.

I rebuilt it while retaining the rustic charm and character. The trunk garnished years of wear and I didn't want it to lose its very charming old world quality. The top does have some major splits in the wood and a large crack on the right hand front edge. The trunk was painted green at some point in time (late 40' early 50's). Some writing and decorations are still visible. Four short poplar legs have been added on the bottom of the trunk to elevate it off the ground, but can be easily removed if desired. A glass top can be included at an additional cost so this can be used as a coffee table.

This hand-crafted trunk includes hand formed copper corners and support cleats which embrace the top and body. The original hinges were cleaned and reassembled. I removed all the loose paint and sealed the exterior with a water based Spar Urethane to preserve the patina, prevent additional paint shedding and provide years of protection.

If you are looking for a truly unique coffee table that will be not only be functional but a great conversation piece – this is it. This coffee table is a great example of upcycling. The recycled glass tiles capture wonderful shadows and reflect images from the surrounding area.    

The table frame is constructed of 16 separate 1"X 4"X ¾" maple strips which have been laminated or joined together and rest on a 15" section steel duct pedestal. This coffee table measures 2'X2' X16" and is suitable for indoor or outdoor entertaining.
